Mike trained in improvisation in Los Angeles with DeVera Marcus of Off The Wall. He went on to become artistic director and founding member of the long-running Shock of the Funny Theater Company in New York. The troupe performed in colleges, clubs, their own theater, and at Lincoln Center. Mike is a graduate of the Warner Brothers Comedy Writers Workshop. He taught improv comedy workshops at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, The Village in Hollywood, and at Cal Arts. He was the director and head writer for The Gay Mafia. He most recently directed and performed with the Angry Daddies and with the Comedy Smash.
